Our Code Of Conduct

Ridgewater serves its clients and treats its competitors, subcontractors and suppliers with honesty and integrity. The code of conduct is a set of rules that are put in place for all members of the Ridgewater crew. We apply this to all our sub-trades to follow to ensure quality and consistency in order to maintain a superior level of service. We hold our crew accountable and encourage feedback from customers in order to ensure continued levels of service.

Site Safety

  • At Ridgewater Safety comes first.

  • Site safety rules are posted on each and every job site, and must be adhered to at all times.

  • A site safety orientation is required to be completed before working on each job site.

  • CSA approved footwear, and hard hats must be worn on job sites.

  • Reflective shirts or vests must be worn around equipment.

  • No horseplay, running or fighting of any kind will be tolerated on any jobsite at any time and is strictly forbidden.

  • If you see, smell or hear something that appears unsafe, immediately report it to the site supervisor.

Respect the Client and Their Property

  • Observe “No Smoking” regulations. No smoking inside or outside of any home or in any yard at any time. Cigarette butts and gum must be disposed of in an appropriate garbage receptacle.

  • Treat customers and homeowners with courtesy and respect.
  • No food or drink (other than water) inside any home or building including garages and basements. You may take your break and eat your lunch in a designated area that will be determined by the site supervisor.

  • If there is no outhouse on site, the site supervisor will let you know the location of a restroom you may use.

  • Report any trade damage immediately to the site supervisor.

  • Keep your work area clean. You must clean up all materials and supplies at the end of each day. All garbage must be disposed of in designated bins. NO exceptions or trades will be back charged.

  • Protective measures must be used at all times. (Flooring, Counter Tops, Windows, Cabinets, Walls, Railings)

  • NO music or radios allowed on any job sites where homeowners, residents or tenants are living or working. On construction job sites, music levels must be kept at low enough levels as not to disturb other trades and to be able to hear the emergency horn.

  • You must be professional, proficient and polite, at all times. No swearing, yelling, or other inappropriate conduct.

  • No pets allowed on site

Take Pride in Your Work

  • The Ridgewater crew must wear Ridgewater shirts at all times.

  • All Ridgewater Employees and sub trades must be presentable and clean when you come to work.

  • You must be on time every day, prepared for all weather conditions and ready to work.
